Reasons I didn’t attend the SF Tweetup:
1. I wasn’t invited.
2. I was at a Jonathan Coulton concert, which featured Paul and Storm, plus Kid Beyond. It was incredibly awesome and I wouldn’t have missed it for all the “stars” and “likes” in the world.
3. I don’t think I’m really funny or interesting enough. This isn’t a “oh pity me” thing; it’s more of a “I’m not in this kind of clique” thing.
4. I’m scared of most of you. Especially that bearded hobo guy.
5. I don’t know about 90% of the attendees.
6. I didn’t really know about it until it happened. If I HAD known, I probably would’ve crashed it despite my stated concerns above.And now you know.
Yeah pretty much me too, especially #3 and except #2. And I’m okay with that.
