The Twentieth Century Cocktail (via Chuck T.)
“Served by Lu Brow from the spectacular cocktail menu at The Swizzle Stick Bar at Café Adelaide. This drink was created in 1939 to commemorate Henry Dreyfus’ gorgeously designed locomotive that pulled the 20th Century Limited between New York and Chicago.
1-1/2 ounces gin.
3/4 ounce Lillet blanc.
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice.
1/2 ounce white crème de cacao.
Shake with cracked ice for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a long lemon peel.”
