Quotable Moms

Tequila and Donuts is still one of my favorite blogs and never ceases to make me laugh. Below is an excerpt from an interview the author conducted with a group at her Mother’s home.

[Question from] Fabflamingo: Favorite cuss word.

Louise: “We can’t say curse words on the computer.”

Mom: “That’s right, we could get sued by the FTD.”

Me: “Mom, FTD is the flower delivery people.”

Mom: “Don’t be silly. No one is going to send us flowers for saying dirty words.”

That is totally something my mom would say, f’reals. Most recently, she called Sciabica Olive Oils “Chewbacca” (it’s pronounced cha-BEEK-ah).
